Applying for a course
You apply through your account on this website. Sending an application does not reserve a place or create a contract. We review every application and may ask you for more information, for example about qualifications you already hold.
Some courses have entry requirements, such as a Level 3 qualification before the Level 4 Certificate in Laser and IPL Treatments. We check these when we review your application. If you do not meet them we will tell you and we will not take payment.
If the start date you choose is full, your application joins the waiting list in the order it arrived. We will contact you if a place becomes available.
When we approve your application
When we approve your application we email you an invoice. Your contract with us begins when we approve it. Your place is confirmed once we receive payment in full.
Paying
Course fees are paid in full. You can pay by card or Klarna through Stripe, or by bank transfer quoting your application reference. Klarna is offered by Klarna and Stripe where you are eligible, and Klarna's own terms apply to any Klarna agreement. We never see or store your card details.
If you take the bundle, one payment covers both courses and both courses open together.
How the courses are delivered
Our courses are hybrid. You attend practical sessions in person at our training centre and complete the underpinning theory through self-study online. Both parts are required to achieve the qualification. You need to attend the practical sessions and complete the assessments the awarding body requires.
Your right to cancel
Because you apply online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the day we approve your application, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us clearly by email or in writing. We will refund what you have paid within 14 days of your cancellation, using the same payment method.
If you ask us to start your course within those 14 days and then cancel, we may keep a proportionate amount for the training you have already received.
Cancelling after the first 14 days
- More than 28 days before your start date: we refund what you have paid, less an administration charge of £100.
- Between 28 and 14 days before your start date: we refund half of the course fee.
- Less than 14 days before your start date, or once the course has started: we do not give a refund. We may offer you a place on a later start date once, at our discretion.
These charges reflect the costs of holding your place and the places we cannot offer to others.
If we change or cancel a course
If we need to move a start date we will tell you as soon as we can and offer you another date. If we cancel a course, or you cannot attend the new date we offer, we will refund what you have paid in full.
Course materials
Course manuals, handbooks and online content are for your personal study on the course. You may not copy, share or sell them.
Conduct and safety
Practical training involves real equipment. You must follow your tutor's instructions and our health and safety rules. We may ask you to leave a session if your conduct puts you or others at risk.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide the course with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Completing a course does not on its own qualify you to practise: insurance, licensing and local authority requirements are your responsibility.

If something is not right, tell us at info@laserskin.co.uk and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
